Vadodara is a historical city and is full of colorful gardens, arches, domes, parks etc. But after the independence it does not remain only a historical city but now it is known as a one of the well-developed industrial township of India. Vadodara is humming with Petrochemicals, Fertilizer, Pharmaceutical, dairy, Plastic, Electronics, electrical & Engineering Industries. It has well known Public sector Industrial Units like I.P.C.L, G.S.F.C., Gujarat Refinery, G.A.C.L., O.N.G.C. etc. and big private sector industrial units like Alembic, FAG, ABB, Gujarat Mahendra Tractor, Apollo Tyres, General Motors etc. It has also number of medium and small size industrial unit. Skilled manpower is one of the basic requirements for sustainable industrial growth.

To fulfill need of skill manpower, Governments of Gujarat has started Industrial Training Institute at Vadodara in 1960. Initially it was started with 14 Trades having 256 sanctioned seats. At present Industrial Training Institute Vadodara has an intake capacity of 1836 seats in 28 different Trades under Craftsman Training Scheme. I.T.I. Tarsali, Vadodara also implements Apprentice Training Scheme by Imparting Basic Training to fresh Apprentices and related Instruction (Theoretical inputs) per prescribed curriculum.

I.T.I. Tarsali also contributes towards social causes by conducting suitable training programmed for candidate belonging to below poverty line with the help of Local District Rural Development Agency (DRDA). ITI also conduct need based training programme for the school dropouts having lower educational qualification under the state scheme of smartgoal.

About Us

Industrial Training Institute Tarsali Vadodara is functioning under the directorate of employment and training ministry of labour Government of Gujarat.

Training programme mainly under:

1. Craftsman Training Scheme.
2. Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
3. Short Term and Other Need Base Programme.

Infrastructure:

Industrial Training Institute, Tarsali has campus of 22 acres and houses apart from ITI, basic Training Centre, Related institution centers as AVTS (Advanced Vocational Training System) HI-TECH Training schemes and Instructors’ Training Centre.

Library:

Institute has a well developed library common for ITC as well as ITI.

All India Trade Test:

All India trade test are conducted on 3rd week July every year. All the trainees who have completed training satisfactory with more than 80% attendance are eligible for appearing for this test. Supplementary Trade test is also conducted in the month of February every year. All India Trade test are conducted in October & April every year.

Certificates:

All the Trainees who is successfully passed All India Trade Test under CTS are awarded National Trade Certificates. Similarly all the Apprentice Trainees who are passed Apprentice training exam are awarded National Apprentice Trade Certificates. For the State level courses are awarded by the Gujarat State Council of Vocational Training.

Affiliation:

All the NCVT trades sanctioned in the institute are affiliated with NCVT. Newly started course of centre of excellence (Auto group) is put up for affiliation.

Admission:

Admission of the ITI courses is purely on merit basis. Admission process start with the result of std 10th and 12th. New session starts on 1st August.
